Not only are we disrupting the sector, we are creating a great place to work that gives our people the freedom to create, innovate and influence how we do this. We continue to build an amazing group of people who are all here to make our products, services and culture the most envied in the industry
The process of creating and revising aircraft Minimum Equipment Lists (MELs) is typically very time-consuming. We have an exciting new product called MEL Manager designed to make the process as easy and hassle-free as possible, and we are looking for a really talented** Product Manager** to:
- Define, own and prioritise the product roadmap, understanding and executing on the long term product vision
- Be a passionate and creative advocate for the product and its potential, taking an entrepreneurial and innovative approach to growing the service whilst keeping customer experience at the forefront
- Collate and prioritise requirements, defining atomic units of work and ensuring they are effectively translated into the product
- Communicate current and expected progress against key initiatives and objectives in line with business objectives and desired planning horizons, identifying risks and mitigation strategies and escalating blocking items as necessary
- Regularly engage with customers across Europe, North America and elsewhere for discovery and ideation as well as supporting customer review calls
- Work closely and collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders across different disciplines, including customers, end users, software engineering, design, business development, OEMs and regulators
- Support marketing activities with content regarding the MEL process, regulatory requirements, and training sessions to ensure TrustFlight becomes and maintains a global thought leader when it comes to MELs
Are you motivated to make a difference to the business and our customers? Are you interested in being an inspiration to colleagues, customers and partners of a transformational aviation software business? Are you passionate about customers and doing the right thing? Is it your aim in life to be an outstanding contributor to a high performing team and great working culture? If you answered “**Yes**” to these questions then you **MUST** read on
**Our values and behaviours guides us a business**
**What you will bring to the role**
You ideally need the following to qualify:
- Demonstrable evidence of launching and growing a SaaS product
- A background in aviation, ideally around managing MELs
- A customer-first approach, recognising the importance of a great customer experience and putting it at the heart of every decision
- A growth mindset, taking initiative and ownership when faced with uncertainty rather than depending on delegation
- An emphasis on agreed outcomes during phased schedules rather than specific outputs on fixed deadlines
- Strong commercial thinking
- Excellent collaboration and team working skills
- A mindset of relentless continuous improvement, for the product, self and others
- High integrity and a strong desire to do the right thing
- Innovative thinking and the ability to think outside of the box
- Some level of software/technical aptitude - enough to be able to critique the engineering team and understand art of the possible
It would be the icing on the cake for us if you also have some of the following:
- Experience working in a high-paced SaaS startup
- Experience of using or integrating with a data platform to extract value from product data in ways that can deliver additional customer value and revenue streams
**Job location**
This role is based out of our Vancouver office, though we work in an agile and flexible environment and we like to advocate you working in the most appropriate way for you. All we ask is that you be able to get to the office when we are meeting up as a team or collaborating on a project.
**Benefits**
- We offer a generous holiday allowance that increases the longer you are here. We are keen for birthdays to be celebrated and so we offer an additional day off to everyone.
- It is important to us that we all work in an environment that is supportive of health and wellbeing; healthcare cover for all our people covers your health, dental and ophthalmic requirements to support you physically and mentally.
- Our generous company contribution to your pension is greater than the local requirements and over time you can plan effectively for your future with our matching contribution scheme.
- We place huge importance on the contribution and experience you bring to the team, the salary will be based on the value you will bring to the role.
**How to apply**
Tell us about you in a cover letter, outlining what you will bring to the role and how you can contribute to creating best in class tools and services throughout the aviation industry. Please also include your CV/resume.
We are waiting to hear from you
