**What You’ll Do**
- Represent the People & Culture team as the first point of contact for general team member inquiries. Respond to queries in a timely fashion and/or redirect as appropriate by researching policies, legislation, and HR best practices
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment for junior level positions, including preparing job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, performing reference checks and creation of offer letters
- Manage onboarding of new employees, including benefits enrollment and orientation, processing and following up on all new hire documents, mobilizing H&S and IT requirements, etc.
- Facilitate the annual Performance Review process through KWL’s performance management system Halogen, and assist with the preparation of the annual performance review training process
- Administer and coordinate benefits through KWL Insurance provider for all employees, creating new employee profiles, making changes as required
- Manage the offboarding process for employees including, exit interviews, data updates, etc.
- Support the Senior People & Culture Advisor with the H&S function
- Accurately maintain up-to-date employee records.
- Support HR Director by providing regular & ad-hoc reports, information, and documentation as required
- Provide support with other HR special projects or initiatives as assigned.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience
- Exposure and knowledge of all or some of the Human Resources functions; recruitment, orientation, compensation and benefits, performance management and employee relations
- Knowledge of British Columbia and Alberta Employment Legislations
- Experience working with an HRIS would be an asset
- Experience working with performance management systems would be an asset
- Must be self-driven, detail-oriented, organized, capable of working autonomously, have excellent communication & interpersonal skills, be customer service oriented, and possess the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must have the professionalism & integrity to deal with highly confidential & sensitive information
