**ROLE**:People & Culture Generalist (6 Month Contract)
**REPORTS TO**:Vice President of People & Culture
**LOCATION**:Burnaby Head Office
We are looking for a **People & Culture Generalist** to join our People & Culture (P&C) Team for a 6 month contract Our P&C Generalist will work as a liaison for the various departments of the business, addressing employee issues, recruitment, projects, engagement, and corporate initiatives, and coordinating day-to-day P&C activities.

In this role, you will work alongside our VP of P&C and P&C Managers across Canada to provide HR guidance to all levels of staff You must be able to effectively handle difficult situations with employees using the utmost emotional intelligence and sound professional judgment. Also, you must exhibit positivity and demonstrate resourcefulness to identify and address HR issues proactively. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Recruitment, and Onboarding with a very supportive team and grow together with the Company

- You have a good understanding of the various HR functions.
- **Experience**_
- You have 4+ years of experience working in Human Resources
- You have employee relations, investigation, corrective action experience
- You have full-cycle recruitment experience for hourly and salaried roles
- You have a Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related discipline
- You have experience working in a culturally diverse work environment.
- **Nice-to-Have**_
- CPHR designation
- Experience working in a food/beverage manufacturing environment.
- HRIS platform usage; Oracle Fusion
**things you will do**
- Ensure the business units follow all laws and established HR policies and procedures.
- Administer and coordinate company policies and training programs.
- Lead salaried recruitment up to Manager level for various business units
- Support the Ontario manufacturing plants with hourly recruitment and employees’ relations matters.
- Support with the service recognition awards, onboarding for head office employees and its program
**OTHER **
- You will be required to travel to the manufacturing plant in Ontario once during the contract period
- Committee: Social Committee, Health & Safety Committee
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
