Purchasing Coordinator

The Purchasing Coordinator will actively contribute to the success of the objectives of the Franchise Division's purchasing department. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager - Procurement Presentation and Product Management, the Purchasing Coordinator will work closely with the Purchasing, Marketing, Distribution Center, and Business Intelligence teams.

**Responsibilities**

**Procurement Presentations (virtual and/or physical)**

Responsible for the organization and management of virtual and/or physical procurement presentations, including:

- Planning, organization, management, and logístical follow-up of procurement presentations
- Data entry
- Production of various sales performance reports
- Responsible for the reception desk and customer service counters during physical presentations

**Internal & External**

Communications management for procurement presentations and for the department, including:

- Responsible for grammar checking and translation of memos before publication
- Responsible for the dissemination of messages
- Responsible for message archiving

**Tracking the Advertising Products**

Participation in the creation of advertising pieces, verification, and validation of products that form the advertising proofs (print or digital), which includes:

- Creation of advertising events in BSWP and AX
- Verification of products and advertised prices
- Management of promotional price drops at checkouts
- Delivery tracking with the distribution center
- Management and validation of good faith and time test reports
- Generation of performance reports of advertised products
- Layout of legal documents
- Sending legal documents to the department of Price Representation and the updating of these documents
- Regular communication with the Calgary Awards Representation Department to ensure that information about our advertising activities meets standards approved by the Competition Bureau
- Prepare and give the Business Intelligence team the final lists of advertised products

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Work with mínimal supervision and have leadership skills
- Be able to work on more than one project at a time
- Very good organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize workload
- Attention to detail
- Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of AS400, AX, and BSWP (an asset)
- Good collaboration with other departments (Marketing, Distribution Centre, and Business Intelligence)
