Quality Control Technician

**Quality Control Technician Responsibilities**:
- Analyses all incoming Raw Materials.
- Reviews the COA’s for incoming raw materials
- Collects product-in-process samples ensuring mínimal moisture loss
- Analyses in-process product for moisture, appearance and dimensions.
- Analyses finished product for moisture, appearance, dimensions.
- Monitors all process parameters, supplies feedback to the Pasteos/Production
- Calibrates and checks the metal detectors(CCP),
- Inspects sealed packages for correct date code, seal integrity and weight. Supplies guidance to Lead Hands & Production for non-conformances as needed.
- Collect/exchange Packaging Department paperwork at the end of the shift
- Pick up retain samples from Cooler and packaging
- Computer inputting of all QC data and parameters
- Records and dispositions non-conforming product
- Takes immediate corrective actions for all QC and Product issues, in consultation with Production
- Fill out QC Department Communication Log if necessary
- Train new QC staff
- Observe GMP/ Food Safety rules being followed by the Production/Packaging Personnel. Report any violations to the Production/Packaging Supervisor and QC Supervisor/Technical Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

- Record Keeping - Fill out QC records clearly and concisely, keep accurate records of all activities/events occurred during a work shift. Make sure QC forms are filled our thorough to allow next QC Tech on shift to properly perform his/her duties.
- Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
