**Responsibilities**
- Assisting Q.C Manager in Quality System Planning
- Laboratory testing of various materials
- Strictly adhering to the organizations quality assurance policies
- Identifying incoming, in-process, and final products for defects and/or production errors in order to prevent these materials from entering the supply chain
- Record and analyze results of various testing in order to certify or reject processed goods
- Routinely analyze samples and trial products during development
- Testing and maintaining the effluent water treatment system
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Laboratory Supervisor and/or Q.C Manager

**Qualifications and Education**
- Highschool diploma minimum is required
- Chemical engineering diploma/degree or similar is an asset
- Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations and able to work both safely and efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Analytical abilities and high attention to detail
- Good oral, reading, written communication skills
- Punctual and flexible to work evenings and/or weekends as required
- Ability to:

- Problem solve and think critically
- Work under pressure
- Familiarize oneself with the paperwork associate with Quality Control Procedures
- Adapt and learn new systems and skills
- Be a team player and work within a diverse work environment

**Experience**
- 1-3 years of quality assurance experience preferred
- Experience working with quality management systems an asset

**Location**
- Brampton and Rexdale, ON

**Schedule**
- Shift work - 7:30am-4pm, 3:30pm-12am, 11:30pm-8am (morning, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, opportunities for overtime)

**Salary**
