**Quality Control Technician**
**Reports to: Operation Manager**
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for quality control of the incoming raw materials, production, sanitation and finished products
- Responsible for the compliance of specific standards for product quality
- Releasing of production batches
- Collection and testing of the Microbiological samples
- Product analysis, GMP, SQF & Other food quality program requirements
- Ensure samples, equipment, and any required chemicals are handled properly
- Carry out other activities needed essential to the effective operation of Quality Control
- Provide support to regulatory inspections including quality representation
- Verify all documentation completed by the production and despatch
- Maintain and perform routine cleaning and calibration of laboratory instruments
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed in timely and corrected manner
- Assist in improvement of HACCP program,
- Perform work in safe and efficient manner
- Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP
- Comply at all times with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- University degree or College diploma in Quality Control or related field is required
- Two years working experience in dairy plant will be preferred
- Excellent analytical laboratory skills, detail oriented
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and in a team environment
- Must have good interpersonal skills and demonstrated problem solving skills
- Must be able to prioritize assigned duties, and demonstrate flexibility
- Knowledge of PC software: Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word is required
**Salary**: $18.00 to $25 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
