**Schedules Available**
- Afternoons - 3:30pm to 12:00pm - Tuesday to Saturday (Saturday shift is 9:00am to 5:30pm)

**Job Summary**

This role is known in house as a “Wash Floor Technician” because you will be an specialist in large capacity washing and drying equipment as well as the overhead conveyor system.

The Futurail Soil Sort Rail System controls the weights/ load sizes and classifications of all products in storage slings and then is transferred to the proper Tunnel washer. Once a load goes into a sling, it is given a Classification Item number and weight. The Classification and weight are used by our machinery throughout the operation process. Wash Floor Technicians must have an excellent understanding of this process.

You must have the knowledge and recognize the importance of it and be able to rectify any issues that may arise during it. The operation of all equipment used in this process must be fully understood as well as the operation of the washer extractor area and all its equipment.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure that tunnel washers are operating properly and efficiently
- Oversee the operations of our Jensen Dryers
- Perform start-up and shut -down procedures for our Jensen Presses
- Check conveyors regularly for issues (and troubleshooting those issues)
- Perform quality control checks including titrations for our tunnel washer and ensure accurate pH levels
- Become knowledgeable of the locations of the emergency stops on all our washer and dryer equipment

**Qualifications**
- LHLS relies on a small team of Wash Floor Technicians to ensure smooth operations, so a good track record of attendance is an absolute must
- Proven experience for learning complex technology quickly
- Willingness to do overtime hours
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for 10 hours a day and perform repetitive movements
- 1-2 professional reference

**Bonus Points**
- If you have a post-secondary education in related field
- Previous experience with industrial washing and drying equipment
