**About the opportunity**

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible to:

- sell vehicle parts and accessories at the dealership parts retail counter, through telephone orders and by way of electronic orders
- provide thorough and detailed explanation of vehicle parts and accessories to retail customers, and make recommendations based on their vehicle
- retrieve from inventory and prepare parts and supplies for automotive service technicians
- provide price quotes and other related information to assist in the purchasing decision
- ensure that parts being returned are in unused, undamaged and in resalable condition
- process purchase invoices and payment transactions, ie. cash, credit card, et cetera
- prepare orders for shipment, delivery and or collection by retrieving from inventory and packaging
- review parts back-orders and process return to vendor items
- assist the parts manager with ordering inventory
- participate in the stocking and inventory count of parts, supplies and accessories
- as needed, participate in the delivery of parts using a company-provided vehicle

**About you.**
- two (2) years proven experience as a Parts Advisor/Consultant; dealership experience preferred
- solid understanding of and vehicle parts and accessories; Mercedes-Benz experience considered an asset
- proficiency working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office software (ie. Excel, Word, Outlook)
- valid Ontario Drivers License and clean driver record
- strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- proven ability to influence change and effectively lead projects

- ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision
