Key Responsibilities
- **Plan and deliver** curriculum-aligned lessons for Grade 10-12 courses (Foundations, Pre-Calculus, Calculus)
- **Diagnose learning gaps** through diagnostic tests and tailor lesson plans accordingly
- **Create and grade** quizzes, assignments, and mock exams to track progress
- **Coach students** on problem-solving techniques, study strategies, and exam preparation (including the BC Graduation Numeracy Assessment and AP/IB exams)
- **Provide timely feedback** and maintain clear communication with students and guardians
- **Adapt teaching methods** to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
- **Participate in team meetings** to share resources and best practices with fellow educators

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; teaching certification (B.Ed) preferred
- Minimum 1 years experience teaching or tutoring BC Grade 10-12 mathematics
- In-depth familiarity with the BC curriculum and assessment formats
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English; additional languages an asset (Mandarin prefered )
- Comfort with digital teaching tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams)
- Patient, enthusiastic, and committed to student success

What We Offer
- Competitive hourly rate**:$30-$50/hr** (based on experience)
- Flexible scheduling: weekday afterneen, evenings & weekends; choose in-person or online sessions
- Employee parking
