This is a **freelance/part-time position** — **not a full-time teaching job**.

**Subjects (One or More Required)**:

- Math 8-9
- Foundations of Math & Pre-Calculus 10
- Pre-Calculus 11 & 12
- Calculus 12
- Physics 10-12
- Chemistry 10-12
- Biology 10-12

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Explain concepts clearly and guide students through practice problems, assignments, and exam preparation
- Teach critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving strategies
- Support with provincial assessments, midterms, finals, and course planning when needed
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback report back to our company monthly and when requested.

**Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s degree or higher, or currently pursuing a degree** in **Math, Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or related field**:

- **Strong knowledge of BC Curriculum (Grades 8-12)**:

- **Minimum 3 years of tutoring or teaching experience** with high school students
- Academic excellence, strong communication skills, and ability to break down complex concepts

**Assets (preferred)**:

- BC Teacher Certification or Education degree in progress
- Experience teaching AP Calculus, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, or IB MYP/DP
- Familiarity with BC provincial literacy/numeracy assessments

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
