**Purpose**:
Develop and implement strategies to assist individuals with disabilities or individuals in need of continuing care in accomplishing their personal goals. To facilitate and encourage the development of relationships with family members, friends, neighbours, and community organizations. Responsible for the daily operations of a program that provides opportunities to several individuals. To ensure the program meet the standards established by the following governing agencies: CLBC, Ministry of Health, Labour Relations Board, Worker’s Compensation Board, Licensing and Bernard C. Vinge & Associates (HCS) Ltd. policies and procedures

**Schedule**:
Mon: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Tues: 8:30am - 4:00pm (Admin)

Weds: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Thurs: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Fri: 7:00am - 10:00am, 10:00am - 4:30pm (Admin)

**Qualifications**:
Criminal Record Check, TB. Test, Valid Class 4 Driver’s License **Valid First Aid/CPR, Doctor’s note of fitness, Food Safe**
- Experience with non-verbal individuals with disabilities
- Experience with health care & care plans as asset
- Experience with safety and behavior plans
- Experience with the daily operations of running a residential program - organized, detailed
- Ability to supervise, train staff and provide leadership
- Must be able to complete and follow administrative duties as directed by the Director of Community Living Programs (Use of Sharevision, following company policy, understanding of collective agreement and ability to schedule staff)

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise, and coordinate the daily operations of several individual’s programs including but not limited to: petty cash, requisitions, individual equipment, facilities, individual medical and other appointments
- Provide on-site program introduction to potential employees (volunteers) and provide feedback to management
- Provide feedback to management of program development and progress
- Provide on-site staff direction and compliance to all company policies and procedures
- Provide on-site company representation for CLBC, licensing & accreditation representatives
- Able to provide leadership during an emergency situation
- Support individuals with dignity, respect and provide emotional support
- Provide the necessary level of support in personal care
- Medication administration as per physician orders including proper documentation
- Assist individual with integration into his/her community and assist with leisure activities within the home

Preference will be given to the applicant that can demonstrate experience with individuals with complex behaviour/medical conditions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.48-$28.52 per hour

- 8 hour shift
