VetDERM Clinic is a specialty veterinary dermatology and ear care clinic with locations in Surrey and Vancouver. Our Vancouver site is newly opened and growing, and we are now seeking a **skilled, emotionally intelligent, hands-on Clinic Manager** to help build and support our team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a specialty environment, values professionalism and kindness, and wants to be part of a clinic that balances **medical excellence**, **efficient workflow**, and **healthy workplace culture**.

**About the Role**

We are looking for a **Manager who can also contribute meaningfully to clinical workflow** — either on the **reception/CSR side** or the **veterinary technician side**, depending on your experience.

This is **not** a pure admin office role.
You will lead the team _and_ stay connected to the day-to-day work.

**You will succeed here if you are**:

- A steady, mature presence with strong communication skills
- A natural organizer with good follow-through
- Warm with clients and clear with staff
- Comfortable contributing to daily workflow (front desk or hands-on patient care)
- Someone who values accountability and respectful teamwork
- Interested in helping build our Vancouver clinic and its culture

**Responsibilities**:
**Leadership & HR**
- Support team morale and maintain a positive, respectful culture
- Lead by example at reception or in hands-on patient care, depending on skillset
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling
- Support performance feedback and maintain accountability standards
- Help implement and maintain SOPs, checklists, and workflow efficiencies

**Client Service / Workflow Support**

(Varies depending on your skillset)
- Reception/CSR duties: phones, booking, client communication, quoting, invoicing

AND / OR
Vet technician role: Room setup, Diagnostic sampling, Cytology prep, Patient flow**,**Patient sedation / anesthesia
- Maintain calm, consistent communication with clients and team

**Operations**
- Oversee daily clinic flow and troubleshoot bottlenecks
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency
- Support inventory management and vendor relationships
- Participate in social media and website updates (asset but not required)

**What You Bring**
- Experience in the veterinary industry (RVT, tech assistant, CSR, or manager)
- Strong communication skills: written and verbal
- Emotional intelligence and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and guide workflow
- Reliability, initiative, and a steady, professional presence
- Leadership or management experience (formal or informal) preferred
