We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented **Inventory Clerk** to support our operations and help manage our inventory needs. This position plays a key role in ensuring that our materials, supplies, and resources are properly tracked and maintained to support our mission.
**Position Overview**
As an **Inventory Clerk** at Deep Roots Foundation, you will be responsible for managing the stock of supplies, equipment, and materials used across our programs. You will help maintain accurate inventory records, assist in ordering materials, and ensure that all supplies are readily available for our team and community initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, mission-driven environment and has a strong eye for detail and organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring that all supplies and materials are accounted for.
- Assist with ordering and replenishing supplies based on program needs.
- Organize and store inventory in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Monitor stock levels and recommend restocking when necessary to avoid shortages.
- Assist in inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies in stock records.
- Coordinate the distribution of supplies to different departments or program teams.
- Help track donations and in-kind contributions of goods and materials.
- Assist in preparing reports on inventory usage, procurement, and spending.
- Ensure the proper labeling and classification of inventory items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage area for inventory.
- Provide support with inventory-related tasks during special events, community outreach programs, or fundraising activities.
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in inventory management or logistics is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse, or administrative roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to use inventory management software or other related tools (training provided if necessary).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
- Ability to lift and move supplies (must be physically capable of handling items up to 20 lbs).
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Passion for working in a non-profit environment and supporting community-focused initiatives.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.28-$24.08 per hour
Expected hours: 48 per week
