**Job Opportunity: Disability Community Support Worker**

We are seeking a **compassionate, reliable, and dedicated** **Disability Community Support Worker** to provide **essential care and support** to individuals with **disabilities** in their **homes** or **community settings**. Your role will be **key** in promoting **independence, dignity, and quality of life** for the individuals you serve.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide **assistance with daily living activities**, including **personal hygiene, meal preparation**, and **medication reminders/administration**:

- Offer **companionship** and **emotional support** to create a **positive environment**:

- Assist with **mobility, lifting, and transfers**:

- **Observe and report** any **changes in health or behavior** to appropriate personnel
- Deliver **individualized care** for clients with **varying disabilities**:

- Encourage **mental stimulation** and **social interaction** through meaningful activities
- Maintain a **clean and safe environment**, including **light housekeeping**:

- Complete **accurate documentation** of care provided and client updates

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- **Previous experience** supporting individuals with disabilities is **strongly preferred**:

- Comfortable with **lifting, transferring**, and other **mobility assistance**:

- **Strong communication skills** to work effectively with **clients, families, and care teams**:

- **Empathetic and patient demeanor**, with a **genuine commitment** to improving others' lives
- Must be **dependable, punctual**, and able to work **flexible hours**, including **evenings or weekends** if needed
- **Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check** (dated within the last 6 months) required
- **Valid First Aid & CPR certification** (Basic or Standard level)
- Must be **legally authorized to work in Canada** (**valid work or study permit** if applicable)

Pay: $15.50 per hour
