**Job description (Bilingual French and English)**

**The Program** Behavior Support and Family Services provides social service supports youth facing challenges through a personalized, trauma-informed approach to care, in an environment of cultural respect and support. Our committed social services team mentor persons served to develop their unique strengths, encourage independence and community inclusion/participation.

For individuals supported by Behavior Support and Family services, we tailor behavioral support plans to meet their emotional, behavioral and mental health needs.

**The Position ( LOOKING FOR BILINGUAL FRENCH AND ENGLISH** ). Preference will be given to highly skilled applicants with significant experience in Disability Services & challenging behaviors, as the clients we support often have behavioral or mental health disorders.

We are currently hiring: Community Support Workers - also referred to as Child and Youth Worker, Social Services Workers, Residential Workers.

**In your role you will;**
- Instruct, guide and support the client with life skills, behavior management and community inclusion in a helpful and supportive manner
- Support individuals with their personal life planning and goal setting and achievement.
- Assist individuals to develop personal home living skills.
- Maximize participation/inclusion at home and in the community.
- Model socially appropriate behaviours (for the individual and the community).
- Work with mínimal supervision
- Solve problems, resolve conflicts and make decisions as a team.
- Administer medical administration or first aid, according to prescribed procedures.
- Collect information; prepare maintain, edit, and organize correspondence, Individual service plans, and progress reports; maintain files according to agency, ministry and accreditation standards.
- Participate in shift exchanges, staff communication and communication of issues or concerns.
- Maintain required documentation.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence /Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)

Pay: $15.76-$24.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
