**Job description**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Meeting and greeting clients and their dogs during drop off from 6.45am to 11am and 4pm to 7pm for collection.
- Discuss any concerns pet parents may have whilst offering them comfort and advice.
- Treat all clients and their dogs with a positive, friendly and understanding attitude.
- Clean up after dogs if neccessary.
- Observe, recognise and report any physical or behavioural concerns of dogs to management before accepting a dog for daycare or grooming.
- Use your initiative to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area including reception desk, shelves, reception bench, reception floor and rugs etc.
- Retrieve dogs from clients calmly, label their belongings and take them into suitable playrooms.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma.
- At least 18 years old.
- **At least** **1 year **of experience **working **with dogs.
- **At least** **1 year **of experience working in a customer service role.
- Familiarity with various dog breeds and behaviours.
- A positive, can do attitude.
- A passion for dogs and providing excellent customer service.
- Able to work in a team and independently.
- Excellent communication, customer service and inter-personal skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Outgoing and excellent ability to use your initiative.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Must be proactive and able to think on your feet.
- Fast learner.
