**POSITION OVERVIEW**
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Inventory and Demand Planning Supervisor will play a critical working role in optimizing inventory levels by SKU and package size while promoting and maintaining inventory accuracy. This position will be a key contributor to maximizing the velocity and accuracy of order fulfillment activities driving customer satisfaction and company profitability.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Planning**_
- Develop inventory projections to support procurement and sales departments in determining quantity requirements
- Maintain inventory availability to meet sales requirements through development and maintenance of inventory forecasting models to optimize stocking levels and minimizing excess inventory
- **Inventory Management**_
- Become key technical expert in all areas of Business Central (BC) required for the Inventory and Demand Planning Team
- Manage inventory location and BIN assignments to ensure inventory locations remain accurate within BC
- Track, investigate, and resolve any inventory discrepancies for all SKU’s
- Identify and execute inventory transfers between locations to meet production and order fulfilment schedules
- Co-lead the annual inventory count, with period cycle counts throughout the year as required
- **Order Fulfillment**_
- Manage, oversee and actively work on lot assignments of all Sales Orders
- Collaborate with Order Fulfillment and Distribution teams to ensure that current and upcoming sales requirements can be met with adequate Pre-Packed inventory on shelves and support of daily order fulfilment activities
- Directly manage sales orders for key business lines working closely with Sales Reps and Purchasing to ensure accurate, on time delivery
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Customer Success, Inventory, Warehouse and Purchasing Teams to accomplish key objectives
- Manage inventory adjustments and transfers as needed
- **Additional Responsibilities**_
- Manage small team of direct reports providing coaching, mentorship, and direction as required
- Take lead role in troubleshooting inventory issues, resolving inventory challenges as they arise
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate inventory analysis findings to senior management
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in inventory management and order fulfillment strategy
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Analytical, technical and able to understand & troubleshoot complex multi-variable scenarios
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain management, or related field
- Experience leading a team of direct reports
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems or ability to quickly learn required
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central considered a plus
- Knowledge of distribution industry practices and trends is preferred

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
