Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Shipping/Receiving Clerk performs the activities related to shipping and receiving. In addition, he might be required to assist in other areas of production as needed on a daily basis, such as assembly, order picking of merchandise, while respecting health and safety regulations and sanitary measures.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Receives all components from suppliers (raw and finished goods), RMAs, plating, and makes all necessary entries in the ERP system.
- Verifies and scales, with random checks the goods in inventory and verifies that purchase order numbers, quantities and weight match the packing slips. Informs the production supervisor of any irregularities and shortages.
- Places all raw materials, molding when received
- Sends raw materials to the plating companies when needed
- Maintains stock accuracy and proper location
- Processes all paperwork for purchase orders and maintains accurate records for all shipment documentation and NMRs.
- Distributes incoming supplies and equipment to various departments
- Maintains inventory of packaging supplies and orders required quantities and sizes
- Ensures lift truck maintenance is properly done and fill in the proper verification document each time before using it.

**OTHER DUTIES**
- Receives job orders and processes them according to start dates
- Deducts all quantities of components from inventory after completion of the kit for each job order as per ERP procedure
- Inspects all boxes for proper labels and information
- Ensures that job orders are routed to the correct department
- Responsible for inventory accuracy (component, quantities, location)
- Advises the appropriate person of stock shortages
- Applies first in, first out (FIFO) policy during all inventory movements
- Supports shipments preparation
- Maintains clean and orderly work area
- Performs all related duties and other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE**:

- Basic knowledge of inventory systems in manufacturing
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving practices
- Knowledge of ISO procedures (quality standards) production processes and mechanics.
- Knowledge of quality standards and procedures
- Knowledge of computers
- English language is essential (oral and written) and basic French.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

**EDUCATION**

High school diploma

**EXPERIENCE**

2 years of related work in a manufacturing environment.
