**Pay Range**

**OPSEU/VHA Pay Scale Level 4A—$22.75-$26.90 per hour**

To provide program support, coordination and scheduling to the Extensive Needs Service Respite program and other programs in the portfolio during staff absences or high-volume situations. Provides support in planning and scheduling services for clients, receives inquiries for services and conducts intake assessment, supports service development and marketing, provides support for administrative activities and contributes to team and service effectiveness. Participates in VHA services and quality initiatives. All activities are conducted within the policies, procedures and standards of VHA.

**Key Skills, Experience and Behaviours Required for this Position**:

- Social Service Worker Diploma or relevant degree combined with a minimum of 2 years experience including coordination of service and intake assessment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and psychosocial assessment tools
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Mental Health and Addictions
- Knowledge of Community resources and Community Health Care
- Good problem-solving skills, solution-focus approach and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to handle a high volume of telephone intake calls and inquiries.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the use of scheduling programs.
- Good keyboarding skills and accurate data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of the GTA and TTC routes.
- Demonstrate efforts to continuously develop and upgrade skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to client and family centered care.
- Satisfactory completion of technical skills testing is required (typing, MS Outlook, Excel and Word).
