The Data Solutions team is looking for a Data Entry Clerk who wants to contribute to the reliability and accuracy of our commercial leasing database by gathering timely data and entering key information. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in an autonomous role, who is a go-getter and clear communicator. This is a hybrid role, based in Vancouver with the expectation you come to the office at least once per week.

You will expand your knowledge and contribute directly towards increased thought-leadership and marketing efforts for the CRE industry. The information you enter will be used to generate reports and surveys consulted by stakeholders in the CRE industry to make informed decisions.

What you will be doing:
- Gather and disseminate information related to Canada’s commercial leasing market. Track all potential availability through listing brochures and news media.- Maintain the database. Confirm all details with respect to building information, leasing details and other related data (images, files, contacts, etc.) are entered accurately in a timely fashion.-
- Trend-spot. Identify and follow current events and trends affecting real estate in Canada- Build relationships. Work with and across multiple internal and external teams.- Ensure accuracy. Review the database to ensure all of the details are accurate and up to date; that all fields are completed. You will pursue information to complete files.- Perform onsite inspections of recently leased properties throughout Canada

What you will have:
- Genuine interest in the real estate industry, with a strong desire to learn.- Post-Secondary Education (college or university) is an asset- Bilingualism, English and French an asset but not a requirement- A driven but easy-going personality. This is a role for someone who wants to be part of a bigger team and can also work on their own processing data.- An analytical nature with strengths in collecting, organizing and entering significant amounts of information with a high level of detail and accuracy.- A logical approach to problem solving with the instinct to follow or develop processes.- The drive to work autonomously and be a contributor to the team’s initiatives.- The confidence and resources to make decisions and to pursue best practices.
