- The Role We Offer

The Strategic Sourcing Advisor will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our sourcing processes. Acting as a dynamic change agent, this role is responsible for catalyzing the operationalization of Intelcom's and its affiliates' Sourcing-to-Payment (I-2-P) processes, ensuring smooth operations in our procurement landscape. We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, and Supplier Relationship Management, capable of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing:

- Demand Analysis
- Market Research
- Sourcing Strategy
- RFx (RFI, RFQ, or RFP) Preparation and Issuance in alignment with internal business units and the cross-functional team
- Supplier Evaluation and Selection
- Contract Negotiation
- Supplier Integration in collaboration with sourcing operations and the finance team
- Supplier Performance and Relationship Management (developing and managing)

Category Management:

- Leading the formulation and implementation of category strategies. Conducting category intelligence research and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve financial and other performance objectives such as service, quality, and risk management.

Technology and Automation:

- Supporting enterprise-wide implementation of the Intake-to-Pay system, ensuring alignment with business needs and driving operational efficiencies such as self-service and paperless Procure-to-Pay transactions.

Ambassador:

- Acting as an ambassador for the Strategic Sourcing team and Intelcom:

- Further developing departmental relationships with internal clients through all interactions and with current/potential service providers of Intelcom
- Communicating effectively and promoting the team's successes.
- A bachelor's degree in law, supply chain management, management, business, engineering, operations, or another applicable discipline is required.
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, including sourcing, category and supplier management, procurement, and/or materials management is required. Technical/manufacturing experience and/or equivalent experience is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated skills in communication (verbal and written), analysis, negotiation, and project management.
- Proficiency in English is required. Additional languages are considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products, including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Business Intelligence experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and manage changing priorities.
- A strong entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to innovate.
- Strong organizational skills.
- A high degree of professionalism and discretion is essential.
- Flexibility with working hours and occasional travel may be necessary.
- Experience with Intake-to-Pay and Sourcing-to-Pay platforms preferred.
- Relationship builder and stakeholder manager.
- Ability to build and develop personal networks.
- Proven ability to analyze and present results clearly and coherently.
- Knowledge of the logistics market (last mile and middle mile) is considered an asset.
- Self-reliant, able to work independently, as well as in a team in a fast-paced and teamwork-oriented environment.
- Ability to navigate through ambiguous situations. Capability to collaborate and support multiple initiatives. Must have strong problem-solving, strategic, and analytical skills.
