**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

**This role is part of** the procurement team in charge of managing the sourcing of specialized and strategic services for ITCAN, and develop and implementing innovative and sustainable sourcing strategies and processes to deliver a significant competitive advantage to ITCAN.

**The role is responsible for** developing innovative and sustainable strategies of cost reduction, that will impact directly the Marketing Investment.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Select and develop suppliers according to well-defined criteria linked to business objectives.
- Develop and implement the most cost-effective procurement processes to achieve the lowest total acquisition cost and balance the requirements of internal customers, Procurement and Audit Services.
- Develop and implement Service Level Agreements with contracted suppliers to promote an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ensure full cross-functional commitment to strategies through communication, education, and evaluation of initiatives and educate both internal and external stakeholders on local and global policies and procedures, as well as e-enablement.
- Analyse financial and market data, to build and maintain knowledge on all aspects of our external environment, to ensure that Procurement proactively manages the Indirect portfolio.
- Collaborate with other ITCAN OpCo’s to support Regional & Global initiatives and ensure ITCAN’s costs benchmark favorably and contribute to the implementation of new e-Commerce technology and tools, as well as support the local Digital strategy.
- Collaborate on the well and strong definition of legal contracts and support the monitoring of key supplier performances to meet and exceed the requirements of internal customers, Procurement, and Audit Services.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**

**Experience Required**
- 3 years Professional knowledge of indirect procurement principals and processes, including high order negotiations.
- High level of commercial awareness.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and strong negotiation skills.

**Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required**
- Understands total cost of ownership (TCO) models and uses this effectively during supplier negotiations and for planning cost reduction programs.
- Detailed understanding of e-commerce tools (such as e-Procurement, e-Catalogue, and e-Contract Management, e-Auctioning and e-RFX, etc.) to enhance and sustain the Indirect Procurement processes.
- Understanding of risk management and vulnerability assessment.
- Proficient in supplier assessment processes that are used to develop supplier improvement plans.

**Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required**
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or any related field such as Supply Chain
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
- Microsoft package certification (proficiency level in Excel, Power BI, and Power Point, mainly)
- Requirement to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 prior to signing the employment agreement.
