**Job Responsibilities and Duties**:
The Carpenter, under the direction of the Project Manager and Site Supervisor, will primarily be responsible for coordinating and assisting with general project management. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

- Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, joists, partitions, rafters, and stud work.
- Installing cabinets, drywall and insulation.
- Erecting temporary structures such as scaffolds and hoists.
- Performing repairs on existing framework structures that are damaged or structurally unsound.
- Analyzing blueprints and drawings to determine the structural dimensions of the framework being constructed.
- Analyzing construction plans to identify potential structural issues.
- Examining building material to identify any defects.
- Performing cleanups of job sites by clearing away all carpentry debris and waste.
- Assisting Site Supervisor with administrative duties, picking up supplies and other duties as needed.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Minimum of 5 years of general carpentry experience and completion of an apprenticeship, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics and other specifications required to deliver high caliber projects.
- Proficient knowledge of building codes and safety regulations and a commitment to operate within specified codes and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to operate hand, air, and power tools and able to use own hand tools on jobsites.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
- Comfortable using ladders and scaffolding.
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Self-starter and able to work with mínimal supervision and learn at a fast pace.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work within a team environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other office technology.
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.

**Salary and Benefits**:

- Fulltime Monday to Friday.
- Salary range between $28.00 and $32.00, hourly depending on experience.
- 2-weeks paid vacation, annually.

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 5 years (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
