Background:
247 Projects Ltd is a project management consulting firm that specializes in facility maintenance consulting. We cover a diverse scope in facility maintenance such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Concrete and others.

We are looking for a project coordinator/estimator to tackle facility maintenance and tenant retrofit projects.

Responsibility:

- Understand the 5 phases of project management: initiating, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, closing.
- Have strong knowledge of project management and building science engineering.
- Understand the synergies between construction and engineering design.
- The ability to work with multiple sub-vendors to deliver projects and facility maintenance work orders.
- Review engineering drawings and provide an estimate.
- Effectively communicate project progress to management and clients.
- Experience with the request for quotations, scope defining and tender management.
- Strong understanding of stakeholder management to deliver work orders and work with sub-vendors.
- Experience with cost control by reviewing and tracking invoices from consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
- Professional attitude in working with complex clients.
- Ability to attend tender meetings.
- Self-motivated with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to mentor others.

Software:

- QuickBooks, Microsoft projects, Outlook, Excel.

Qualifications:

- Journeyman Certificates, Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management Or Project Management.
- EIT, CAPM, P.Eng., PMP, Leed AP is an asset.
- Minimum of five years of construction experience.
- Experience working with property management and construction management is an asset.
- Knowledge of commercial building Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing or building envelope is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to get security clearance with a federal government client is a must.
