**Overview**
**Duties**
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.
- Train, mentor, and supervise staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication within the team.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain equipment to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Support financial management by assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring sales performance.
- Utilize POS systems for efficient order processing and reporting.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Experience in bartending or kitchen operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
