Strategic Support Coordinator

**ARX Fencing and Logistics** is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Strategic Support Coordinator to join our growing team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our projects and sales teams. This position requires a proactive individual with strong administrative, logístical, and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in hiring and scheduling.

**Overall Responsibility**:
The Strategic Support Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and logístical support to the operations and sales teams, ensuring efficient workflow, seamless project coordination, and plays a key role in hiring and scheduling processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Management Support**:

- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports.
- Coordinate logistics for projects, including equipment rentals, deliveries, and scheduling.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and expenses.

**Administrative Support**:

- Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager, such as preparing presentations and reports.
- Assist with client communication and follow-up.
- Manage inventory of office supplies and ensure smooth office operations.

**Human Resources Support**:

- Manage the hiring process for designated roles, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks, in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
- Develop and maintain employee schedules, considering project needs, employee availability, and legal requirements. This includes scheduling for event staff, traffic control personnel, and other relevant roles.
- Coordinate with the Lot Supervisor and Field Supervisors to understand staffing needs for upcoming projects.
- Track employee time and attendance, ensuring accuracy for payroll processing.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a similar administrative or coordination role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with project management software (preferred).
- Experience with HR software or platforms (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the construction or logistics industry (an asset).

This role requires a proactive individual who can navigate challenges with a positive attitude while contributing to the overall success of the team.
