**Salary**: $18.80 to $24.32/hour depending on experience

Role Responsibilities:

- Assist in scheduling, preparing and implementing recreation programs which support Intercare’s philosophy of meeting the holistic needs of the customers, as directed
- Maintain appropriate records of planned programs and attendance
- Documents care, programs and interactions as required on the resident’s health care record
- Participate in outings and other special events
- Demonstrate respect to all customers, by working with them in a calm, courteous manner

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:

- A Recreation Therapy Aide Diploma is preferred; a Recreation Therapy Aide certificate and/or a minimum of two years as recreation therapy assistant or related field experience in a continuing care setting will be considered
- Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language
- Mentally and physically able to perform duties as outlined

**Job Types**: Casual

**Salary**: $18.11-$23.43 per hour

Pay: $18.80-$24.32 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
