Sales Finance Analyst

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Canada is recruiting for a Sales Finance Analyst, located in Markham, ON.

This position works in a team with two Senior Financial Analysts and has a role leading the creation of profitability analytics and analysis for all RFP’s/tenders and proposals for Ethicon & Mentor businesses along with leading support to the Strategic Customer Group function. It will require engaging business partners using data and analytics to influence and shape business decisions that support both short and long-term strategies.

**Key Responsibilities **_: _

Liaise and partner with local commercial, marketing, contracts business partners to complete:

- Tender (RFP), proposal and pricing scenario building and profitability analysis
- Drive value and capabilities for our customer proposals beyond price
- Analyze and provide decision support on regional growth and investment opportunities
- Leveraging customer profitability tool to draw business insights
- Create and analyze forecasts by customer to be leveraged for planning updates and future P&L’s
- Partner with the sales organization, analyze and provide decision support on customer investments, solution strategies and capabilities
- Partner with the sales organization for customer segmentation
- Ad hoc analysis and performance insights

Ensure all financial compliance related deliverables are met associated with, but not limited to:

- Display full P&L knowledge and lead/advise the sales organization of how investment/strategic opportunity impacts to the P&L
- Maintain the Ethicon & CSS rebate workbook, increase transparency of current rebate contracts and perform quarterly accrual updates
- Ensure appropriate financial and business controls are operating and functioning appropriately
- Month End journal entries and support, as required
- Supporting all internal and external audits, as required
- Lead special projects and continuous finance initiatives, as required

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- University degree is required
- Enrolled in a recognized Accounting Designation program preferred
- Minimum of 2 years Accounting/finance and business partnering experience is required

- Proven ability to work with all management levels including VP, adapting style and content to maximize impact

- Utilize knowledge of organizational drivers, dynamics, interdependencies, and informal networks to influence appropriate business decisions.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

- Working knowledge of SAP / TM1 an asset
- High level of aptitude for learning financial systems
