**What You'll Be Doing**- Troubleshoot and repair facility and equipment issues, including HVAC malfunctions, plumbing leaks, electrical faults, and conveyor or production equipment breakdowns.- Conduct regular inspections of the facility, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, to identify any maintenance or repair needs.- Carry out preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and building systems to minimize unplanned downtime.- Ensure timely response to maintenance requests while prioritizing tasks to reduce operational downtime.- Support the installation, relocation, and commissioning of new machinery and facility systems.- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance services.- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory of spare parts on computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)- Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and maintain compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.- Monitor and maintain building infrastructure such as lighting, doors, docks, ceilings, and flooring.- Support facility audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.

**What You Can Expect**- Physical ability to lift up to 50lb(~23kg).- Travel to the site, and secondary locations will be required.- Safety equipment will be required when working in the production floor, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, smock/coat, gloves, etc.- Working after-hours as required.- Hazards associated with the trade.- Work both indoors and outdoors.- Exposed to construction sites during any renovation- Work in temperature-controlled environments, including coolers and freezers.

**What We Are Looking For**- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.- Proven experience as a facilities or maintenance technician, or a similar role.- Strong knowledge of facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety.- Proficient in troubleshooting and repair techniques for equipment-related issues.- Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and safety protocols.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.- Effective communication skills to interact with team members, contractors, and vendors.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required.- Additional certifications in trades, electrical, HVAC, or other technical areas are considered an asset.
