Little Piggy Catering is hiring banquet/event servers. Drivers license is a major asset.

Availability:
Must be available Saturdays throughout the summer and into early fall.

Shifts are mainly evenings and weekends, but we also need people who have weekday availability (days and evenings).

Please give us as much information regarding your availability as possible.

Shifts:
All shifts are a minimum three hours. Most shifts are 3-6 hrs and end by 9pm'ish. Premiums paid for OT, stats, and late nights.

About the job:
These positions are somewhat seasonal, but shifts are available year round.

If you have serving experience, but haven't been an event server: Unlike restaurant servers, event servers don't have to sell anything and they don't need to remember complex orders. An event servers' responsibilities are mainly to move food around (to tables or to a buffet), to pass hors d'oeuvres, assist with buffet set up, to set and clear tables.

Our event venues include wineries, halls, private homes, gardens, parks etc... and are located throughout southern Vancouver Island.

Many events are weddings, but you'll also be going to large corporate events, staff bbqs, fundraisers, family events, celebrations of life etc...

- any event or restaurant service experience (food service and customer service experience is worth noting if you're short on serving experience)

- if you have a car (not essential, we do provide a mileage allowance for applicable use)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- serving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (preferred)
- drivers license (preferred)
