OBJECTIVE
The role of Branch Manager carries the responsibility of orchestrating and optimizing the operational efficiency of one or more designated branches within our organization. The principal objective is to ensure the seamless functionality of the branch, achieve financial targets, uphold impeccable standards of customer service, and oversee a team of skilled professionals. This individual will be tasked with building, leading, and supervising a high-caliber team capable of collectively attaining objectives aligned with the core values of Safety Express.
By offering consistent feedback, continuous training, and exemplary leadership, you will cultivate a workplace culture that fosters employee retention and attracts top-tier talent as required. This opportunity is tailor-made for professionals who thrive in demanding and rapidly evolving work environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Development: Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve organizational goals by also reviewing sales results, daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Operational Oversight: Daily review of operational dashboard to ensure operational consistencies within customer order status including back orders, invoices, shipping, inventory levels, etc.
- Budget Management: Efficiently manage operational expenses, encompassing costs related to freight, warehousing, and office. Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure operations remain within the allocated budget.
- Team Leadership: Manage team, including recruitment, onboarding planning, training, performance management including attendance, measure KPls, coaching/mentoring, individual weekly one-on-one, annual performance reviews.
- Communication Hub: Conduct daily group meeting with the operations team for continuous communication with team members to share sales targets, promotions, sales results, new product introductions, webinars, training, standard operating procedures are met including process changes.
- Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control measures to ensure that products or services meet required standard such as reduce inventory shrink, waste and write-offs, stock adjustments.
- Logistics Management: Oversee all aspects of logistics, encompassing inventory management, transportation, and operational expenses. This includes but is not limited to managing cycle counts and discrepancies, conducting annual inventory counts, monitoring freight, office expenses, and conducting facility audits.
- Stakeholder Relations: Manage relationships both internally and externally to help resolve customer complaints.
- Collaboration: Collaborate harmoniously with key stakeholders (including, but not limited to peers, customers, direct reports, suppliers etc.) to support organizational goals and share best practices.
- Compliance: Ensure compliancy with all team members of up-to-date equipment training, safety training,

QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to delegate and set clear expectations.
- Strong analytical skills, financial acumen with the ability to analyze data including attention to detail.
- Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Forklift certification (or capable of certification).
- Valid Driver's Licence.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in an office and warehouse environment.
- Walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
