Flair Airlines is currently seeking a permanent, full-time **Regional Manager, Airport Operations - Canada **to join our growing and ever-changing organization. The Regional Manager, Airport Operations, Canada is responsible for the strategic and day to day operations management of the airports within their portfolio. This includes management and/or oversight of Above-the-wing (ATW) and below-the-wing (BTW) operations, airport facility, customer service standards, liaising with regulatory authorities, while keeping control of operational costs and management of station budgets.

**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **Regional Manager, Airport Operations - Canada **include:

- ** Airport Operations (ATW and BTW)** - While creating a safety culture at the airport, the incumbent is responsible for the overall operational performance at the airport for Flair operations. This includes oversight of 3rd party service providers for the above-the-wing (ATW) and below-the-wing (BTW) providers. Using operational performance information to drive excellent service at the airports and reviewing with service providers their performance on a regular basis, when needed developing and/or overseeing performance improvement plans to target and deliver meaningful solutions to drive efficient and excellent operation and services.
- ** Baggage Services** - Provide oversight and management of the ground handling partner to ensure they are providing baggage tracking, handling, and delivery of delayed baggage including passenger communication, in accordance with Flair policies and processes. Identifying areas of improvement in station Missing Bag Ratio (MBR), then leading the development and oversight of the improvement action plans.
- ** Organizational and Operational Representation **- Through development of relationships with stakeholders, represent Flair operations and advocate for the service levels, new initiatives, and operational needs at the airports for which Flair operates. This includes relationships with, regulators, customs representatives, airport authorities, security, and ground handling management teams.
- ** Flair Culture Development** - Within Airports the Regional Manager position is responsible for the growth and development of all Flair engagement and cultural based frontline initiatives via 3rd party handlers.

**Secondary Job Functions**:

- Participate in cost management through regular review of ADHOC operational needs and approval of additional operational charges.
- Work with CTA, TC, USCBP and other regulatory organizations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Follow up on station delays, identify trends within airports and other departments.
- IROP Management and assistance
- Utilize company and department support resources as needed to provide the teams with all tools and knowledge to execute on their duties.
- Participate in the start-up, restart and closure of all new, returning or closing stations.
- Oversight and ensuring all service providers are in compliance with the training requirements for their role. Working closely with Flair training teams to act as the point of escalation to any non-compliance or delinquent students.
- Assist with business improvement implementation/development as needed.
- Assist with growth and launch of new stations.
- Other responsibilities as required.

***Qualifications and Educations Requirements**:

- Two to five years of airline operational management experience required.
- University or College Degree/Diploma in a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated management ability through a history of progressive leadership roles.
- Experience with dealing in a complex, lean business environment and engaging with, and influencing stakeholders at all managerial levels, both internally and externally.
- Exposure to air safety legislations, CATSA regulatory requirements and experience managing audit programs will be highly regarded.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory employment references.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite; particularly Outlook, Word, and Teams.
- Ability to assess priorities and problem solve under pressure of competing demands.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with
