**Job Summary**:
**How you will make an impact**:
**As a Labour Relations Advisor, you will**:

- Provides technical guidance to the HR Service Centre and other members of the People & Culture team.
- Assists and occasionally participates in various labor management meetings with union representatives
- Assists Company Leaders with conflict resolution processes, including grievances and arbitrations of moderate complexity. Researches background information, documents findings, develops recommendations, prepares backup materials, may also liaises with legal counsel as required.
- Participates in the collective bargaining process, providing input to bargaining strategies and conducting research on workplace issues, grievance-related trends, historical practices, case history, precedents, relevant legislation and other labour relations topics. Also carries out analysis of proposals and related cost/benefit; may prepare bargaining materials and draft Collective Agreement language, and may speak to specific issue at the bargaining table.
- Communicate effectively with Company Leaders and union representatives regularly to foster a collaborative working environment
- Develops and maintains relationships with union leaders and representatives, and participates in dialogue to resolve day-to-day labour relations issues

**About you**:

- Undergraduate degree in labour relations or a related discipline
- 2 year of related experience involving the administration of Collective Agreements, participation in collective bargaining, handling grievances, and advising Leaders in the resolution of a wide variety of labour relations issues.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills to provide specialized guidance and expertise to Company Leaders on a wide range of labour relations matters, and to handle conflict resolution processes, including grievances and arbitrations.
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills to conduct research and make recommendations in support of collective bargaining, conflict resolution processes and other labour relations issues.
- Able to work independently with mínimal direction while demonstrating the ability to exercise mature judgment, prioritization and organizational skills
- Work in a fast-paced work environment that encourages collaboration & adopts change
