The Accident Rehabilitation Centre is an interdisciplinary clinic unique in Calgary, with our primary focus on treating patients who have been involved in motor vehicle collisions. Our team at ARC includes in-house Physician, Chiropractor, Physiotherapists, Kinesiologist, Psychologist, Massage Therapists, as well as Administrative Support Staff - We are looking for a Client Care Coordinator to join our team.

At ARC, you’ll find a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, with different providers working in tandem to employ the most beneficial treatment options for each client.

As a member of the administrative staff, your role would include;
- Acting as first point of contact for patients and visitors, welcomes and greets them in person and on the telephone.
- Setting up and confirming appointments with multiple healthcare providers.
- Faxing, scanning, filing of documents in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Maintain/update patient information on the EMR.
- Following up with ongoing patient files, outstanding invoices, and point of contact re: any insurance or extended healthcare.
- Providing support for the admin/provider team, and working within a multidiscipline environment.
- Maintaining highest level of confidentiality of health information.

About the role;
- This is a guaranteed, full-time position at 40 hours per week (pending probation)
- Consists of later morning/early evening availability +/- Saturday
- This is a hourly position
- Includes sick time, paid time off
- Includes employee benefits package (conditional on successful probationary period)
- This role is part-time in nature for training, with the adoption to full-time/salary upon completion

Qualifications;
- Education: Medical office diploma or certificate preferred, but not required
- Ideal: 2-5 years’ experience in a medical office setting, new graduates of administrative program welcome
- Strong preference of experience with allied healthcare and third party billing
- Knowledge of medical terminology an asset, but not required
- Knowledge and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) required, minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
- English language proficiency required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
