**Job Summary**

As an Ideation Facilitator, you’ll join our growing and collaborative Customer Insight and Ideation Team. You will design and lead multi-day workshops with internal and/or external participants, as well as smaller-scale activities—both in-person and online. Your role is about scaling up the workshops and programs we use to generate new product ideas today, and about finding new opportunities for the ideation skillset to add value to our business.

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Lead “customer council” workshops, where customers are taken through a two-day process to generate new product ideas for our business and entertained in the evening
- Lead internal ideation workshops of smaller and larger scale (i.e. an hour in MURAL to two days off site), where IPEX teammates are the participants and taken through a process to solve tough challenges and/or generate new product ideas
- Grow the New Product Idea Submission Program, which crowd sources ideas from the entire company; evaluate current levels of participation, run outreach initiatives to onboard new groups and increase participation
- Participate in the Stage-Gate gate 1 ideas evaluation, which connects the ideation pipeline of ideas to our new product development process
- Oversee the work of suppliers who are contracted to conduct additional ideation projects (i.e. a customer council in addition to the ones that you are leading)
- We anticipate up to 25% travel for this position, primarily for workshops and outreach to our workforce throughout North America.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications & Experience**
- 3+ years in roles where workshop facilitation was a significant component
- Training in a workshop facilitation method, such as Basadur Applied Innovation’s Level I & II Basadur Certification, Facilitator School’s Facilitator Masterclass, Hyper Island’s Facilitative Leadership Course, Mischief makers’ Leading Groups Course, LUMA’s Facilitator Certification Program, Voltage Control’s Facilitator Certification, or similar
- Exposure to the planning of logistics for workshops or other types of events preferred
- Experience running online workshops; experience using MURAL (or similar) software
- Degree in business, a social science (e.g. psychology, anthropology, sociology, etc.), innovation, or similar
- General understanding of a product development process (e.g. Stage-Gate), the other disciplines on the team (Design Research, Strategic Foresight), the ability to speak French, and/or experience working in B2B are not required but are assets—let us know if you have them
