**Position Overview**
The Head of Product and Delivery will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of Uplifter’s product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. This role will drive product design, development and delivery, overseeing the lifecycle from product ideation to successful implementation and customer adoption. As the head of this function, you will ensure a cohesive approach to product strategy, enhance delivery processes, and foster collaboration across departments.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Product Strategy and Roadmap**
- Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligned with Uplifter’s business objectives and market opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders (e.g., customers, sales, marketing, support and engineering teams) to gather insights, prioritize features, and make data-informed product decisions.
- Drive product discovery, including user research, competitive analysis, and innovation, to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Develop and manage a clear product roadmap, balancing new feature development, platform maintenance, and customer requests.
**Product Design, Development, and Delivery**
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of product milestones.
- Establish and manage agile processes, prioritizing continuous improvement in development and delivery practices.
- Design and optimize a scalable system architecture to support the current product suite and future growth, including the integration of AI and machine learning capabilities to enhance product features.
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to incorporate data-driven insights, automation, and predictive analytics into the product, improving functionality and user experience.
- Lead UX and design strategy, collaborating with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall customer experience.
- Align engineering, product, and design teams to maintain a focus on quality, scalability, usability, and visual consistency across all product offerings.
- Facilitate regular communication and status updates to stakeholders, keeping them informed on progress, risks, and delivery timelines.
**Leadership and Team Development**
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and delivery managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Build and refine product, delivery, and design processes that enable effective cross-departmental collaboration and alignment.
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, delivery efficiency, UX quality, and team performance, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
**Customer Focus and Market Alignment**
- Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and industry trends to ensure that products are market-relevant and user-centric.
- Develop strong relationships with key customers, using their feedback to drive improvements in both functionality and design.
- Collaborate with customer success and support teams to address escalated customer issues and improve the customer experience across the product suite.
**Requirements**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Product Management, Design, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- **Experience**:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, within a SaaS or tech company.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering complex products and projects, ideally within an agile environment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and building a high-performance product, delivery, and UX organization.
- **Skills**:
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders, customers, and team members at all levels.
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, system architecture, and AI integration.
- Proficiency in product management and design tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Figma, Aha) and an understanding of basic technical concepts in software development.
