**Summary**

As a Dental Assistant at Mount Hope Dental Care, you will be an integral part of our team, providing high-quality support to our dental professionals and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This role is vital in helping us maintain our commitment to excellent dental care in a modern setting.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials/taking x-rays
- Ensure the treatment area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Take patient medical histories and record vital signs as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software.
- Support the front desk with administrative tasks as required.
- Foster a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all patients.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix is preferred.
- Ability to assist in various dental procedures, including orthodontics
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
