Join Our Tigercat Team as a Payroll Specialist

**A Day in the Life of a Tigercat Payroll Specialist**:

- Leap into the payroll system; update employee records, manage payroll cycles and process reports.
- You ensure seamless transitions by examining each line with a keen eye to prepare forms, including records of employment, income tax forms, and remittances.
- Provide customer service by responding to payroll-related inquiries and requests from employees and management.
- Analyze data, identify discrepancies and navigate complex payroll processes.
- Your experience and attentive nature will seamlessly transition into working collaboratively with the Human Resources and Finance teams to improve and enhance payroll processes.
- Given the sensitive nature of payroll information, reliability and trustworthiness are crucial qualities. You must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential data.
- You leave knowing your work ensures Tigercat’s heartbeat—the people—are taken care of.
- This role is 100% onsite in Cambridge, Ontario.

**What We're Looking For**:

- 3+ years of experience working as Certified Payroll Professional
- Previous payroll system experience (ADP, Ceridian, QuickBooks Payroll, etc.)
- MS Office suite, particularly Excel, and the ability to navigate their complexities.
- Education or training in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail; ensuring accuracy in calculations and compliance with all regulations.
- Adaptability to adapt to changes in regulations and business needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and business partners.
