CBI Health Group is hiring a Team Lead in Regina to oversee two residential homes for individuals living with disabilities. As a member of the leadership team, the Team Lead is an integral part of ensuring residents are living their best life by promoting and encouraging a Person-Centered mindset among staff. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, the Team Leader is also responsible for providing staff direction, guidance and support.

**PRIMARY DUTIES**
- Provides daily guidance and leadership to Community Support Workers, through coaching, role modelling, and motivating in order to support residents to live their fullest potential in the least restrictive and most supportive environment of their choice.
- Responsible to provide in-the-moment feedback/coaching and training for staff to ensure the Supported Individual’s are living the best lives they can live. Documenting all situations to ensure Manager’s are aware and are able to act accordingly.
- Liaises with each resident’s family, and support network, in the development and actualization of the resident’s person-centred plan, including their care plan.
- Monitors household maintenance to ensure staff and resident safety.
- Develops, coordinates a variety of in home and community activities related to recreation, social and leisure, education, and volunteerism.
- Provides personal and intimate care (e.g., feeding, toileting, transferring, and dressing) for residents, as required.
- Completes necessary documentation in accordance with CBI Health policies, Ministry of Social Service requirements and best practices.
- Fosters a team approach to providing quality service delivery.
- Facilitate and participate in all relevant meetings including but not limited to staff meetings, resident meetings, stakeholder meetings, etc.
- Exceptional communicator with solution focused problem solving ability.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Certificate, diploma or related experience in related field (e.g., Therapeutic Recreation, Continuing Care, Disability Support Worker, etc.).
- Supervisory experience, including providing consistent staff performance feedback.
- Certifications: First Aid/CPR/AED Level C; Safe Food Handling, OH&S Level One.
- Training: Transfer, Lift and Repositioning; Professional Assault Response (PART); Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS); Medication Administration.
- Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s License & reliable vehicle, and $2 million Liability insurance
- Knowledge of residential care licensing
- A satisfactory Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Search
- Experience in training staff on how to provide personal and intimate care and medication administration.
