Brandt is currently looking to fill a Network Team Lead position in our Regina, SK location.

We are looking for a qualified leader to manage our team of network analysts and provide effective guidance. You will supervise, manage, and motivate team members daily.

As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Instilling cornerstone values such as trust, mutual respect and a shared sense of purpose will create a Team-First mentality that engages team members and produces optimal results. Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engaging the team to achieve goals. Your collaborative approach along with your technical knowledge will be the keys to mentoring your team and executing strategic projects.

You are also a technical leader who understands and stays up to date on technology related to our environment and future initiatives. Using your knowledge and experience of enterprise network architecture, you will propose, design and deliver solutions that fit the need. You have one eye on delivering a stable performing network while the other eye is focused on expanding and safeguarding our growing landscape.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
- Oversee day-to-day teams' operation and performance.
- Set clear team goals and KPIs.
- Delegate tasks and set project deadlines.
- Create a healthy and motivating work environment and atmosphere.
- Monitor team members performance and provide feedback.
- Discover training needs and provide coaching.
- Liaise with other groups within the department.
- Propose and manage technical changes.
- Collaborate on strategic organizational projects.
- Manage relationships with vendors and third parties.

**Required Skills**:

- 10+ years experience with enterprise network infrastructure directly involved in the data center, cloud and distributed branch design.
- Expert-level experience in data center architecture and network design.
- Previous experience in a technology leadership role - formal or informal.
- Relevant Post-Secondary Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent work experience.
- Capacity to work autonomously with limited supervision.
- Concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Can adapt to and remain calm in all situations.
- Firewall, route/switch and enterprise wireless solutions from Fortinet, Palo Alto and Cisco family of products.
- Monitoring and supporting routing and switching in a large enterprise environment.
- Principles of the “Cisco Data Center Basic Layered Design”.
- Advanced firewall configuration.
- Web Access Firewall (WAF) Products
- Azure networking components.
- Participation in the implementation of the “Azure Cloud Adoption Framework.”
- Industry-recognizable certifications.
- Network Access Control solutions.
- Hands-on experience with windows services such as DNS, DHCP, Radius, Certificate Services, etc.
- Disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Leading or supporting corporate cyber-security initiatives.
