**Position Summary**:
We are looking for a highly energetic and systematic **Logistics Coordinator **whose main objective is to achieve success of smooth operations for maximum efficiency and takes initiative when working towards servicing our customers first-class.

Please note that this is a hybrid position that requires computer organization skills and warehouse management.

**_Requirements for this Position:_**
- **Entry Level Position**
- **Minimum of 1 Year of Canadian Work Experience in logistics an asset**
- Experience in Warehousing an asset
- Operate Forklift for loading and unloading freight an asset
- Great problem solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Great Computer Navigation Skills
- Fluency in verbal and written English
- _Typing Skills - 35 w/m _

**_Responsibilities & Duties:_**
- Report empty trailers or containers (arrange trucker for removal)
- Report loaded trailers or loaded containers to Logistic Team
- Track arrival date/free day expiry
- Follow up and Coordinate with Logistics Team with instructions/schedules
- Arrange live unload or drop unit with warehouse crew
- Assist drivers with paperwork and tags
- Ensure all inbound freights are Tagged with Work Order# or original shipping documents
- Maintain a healthy balance of CHEP pallets or regular pallets available
- Check with Dispatch Team with all inbound and outbound freight daily
- Warehouse crews are informed with daily schedule
- Ensure all paperwork are ready at shipping desk prior truckers’ arrival
- Ensure trucker signs BOL before leaving our yard
- Coordinate with forklift operating crew for dock/ramp schedule for loading or unloading priority.
- Ensure all loading/unloading/OS&D reports are scanned daily and shared with the Logistics Team
- Cross trained for all pick & pack accounts stored at our warehouse. This is to ensure during other team members’ absence will not interrupt our business operations.
- Maintain a warehouse monthly inventory report and financial report.
- Ensure all cooler and frozen freight are stored properly.
- Check with other warehouse partners and assist with LTL drop off ETA and check pending for pick up
- Troubleshoot any pending loads with Dispatch and relay message to all warehouses to close early or wait for drivers
- Closing duties: all bay doors are close and lock. Side doors close and lock. Lights are on in shipping area. Forklift parked securely. Alarm on in warehouse area.
