Summary
The primary function of the Logistic Coordinator Warehouse Operations to prepare outbound orders for the warehouse to pick and ship, update the warehouse system with all goods received and ensure invoicing of monthly recurring storage, in and out charges and any additional accessorial charges.

Richmond, BC (Airport)
Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Answer, screen and resolve all client issues and manage all incoming queries
  • Track and verify truck locations prior to delivery
  • Communicate with customers, dispatchers and drivers regarding delays, issues, and updates, Manage all customer orders in the warehouse system
  • Verify product information including case counts, temperature readings and pallet counts on active loads
  • Accounting support including filing, scanning, and photocopying
  • Safety support including daily electronic log audits.

Qualifications
Education and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehousing environment or,
  • Minimum high school education required
  • Dangerous Goods Certification, an asset

Skills and Competencies

  • Good command, both verbal and written, English skills.
  • Ability to create collaborative engagements and active listening
  • Strong interpersonal skills, building professional relationships internally and externally
  • Good problem-solving skills and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task, plan, prioritize and manage time effectively to meet goals and achieve results
  • Both a team builder and a team-player
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Act as a role model for DSV values and adhere to the Code of Conduct.

Language and Computer Skills

  • English is the principal language for this position, additional languages may be required in other locations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Warehouse Management Software (WMS)

Physical Demands

  • Regular working hours apply for this position, at times, working beyond these hours may be required by business needs.
  • Safety shoes and safety vest to be used during work hours
  • Ability to lift, push & carry lbs
