**SUMMARY**:
Our Logistics Coordinator is a self-starter with initiative and versatility to excel in the dynamic environment of our fast-growing company. The successful incumbent has an innate understanding of inventory, ordering, arranging freight amongst co-packers, warehouses and liquor boards while liaising amongst internal production, finance and sales. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, effective communication, and the drive to succeed are key traits. This role repots into the Director, Operations with strong working relationships with customer service and sales.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
(other duties may be assigned, as required)
- Coordinate inbound and outbound movement of goods from manufacturers to warehouses
- Process purchase orders, arrange and monitor transition of goods
- Utilize external systems to coordinate
- Follow up and report exceptions
- Weekly reporting of shipments
- Work within our ERP system
- Assist and liaise with customer service, especially in cross border shipments
- Coordinate importation from cross border suppliers, work with customs broker, freight companies as well as documentation and reporting
- Assist production in creating freight procedures and loading patterns to minimize product loss
- Manage warehouse inventory at co-packers including management of damaged or unsaleable product
- Assist production with hard goods procurement, logistics and pre-market analysis
- Prepare and report shipments, depletions and production forecasts and liaise with finance and sales
- Assist accounting team with month-end AR reconciliations
- Conduct in-person visits to freight docks to analyze goods, verify quality (QA) and maintain working relations
- Create and maintain UPC/SCC barcodes for products
- From co-packer through to liquor boards, manage CHEP pallet reconciliations and transfers across Canada
- Track shipments and depletions and maintain weekly/monthly reports for Canadian markets:

- Weekly Sales/Depletion Report vs Budget
- Monthly Forecast Report vs Budget
- Quota Watch - Monthly and Rolling twelve months
- Agent Sales Commissions
- Renew business licenses and permits
- Manage production documentation, such as certificates of analysis, batching records, etc.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Industry experience preferred - familiar with alcohol beverage, liquor boards and private retail
- 2-5 years of experience with inventory/orders/arranging freight amongst co-packers, warehouses and liquor boards
- Coordinator or logistics experience in a similar role
- A diploma or degree in business, logistics, operations, administration, or equivalent
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency with ERP systems an asset
- Impeccable accuracy with numbers and high level of attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong communications skills (written and verbal)
- Professional demeanor and presentation
- Ability to work proactively both independently and in a team environment
- Solid work ethic, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
