**PPG is hiring a Full Time Operations Safety Technician with an Opportunity to Build Your Career**

As a Full Time Operations Safety Technician, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives

**Some of your job responsibilities may include**:

- Conduct new Hire Training
- Conduct EHS Training, Audits / Assessments for JSA, LOTO, PPE and other safety requirements.
- Safety Committees - Organize and run the committee meetings
- Support in the approval of work permits to employees and contractors
- Manage the maintenance to emergency and fire protection equipment (hoses, fire extinguishers, spill kit, etc.)
- Help Exceed site goal, near misses/hazard reports by administering the program.
- Assist with 5S documentation and audits
- Conduct Emergency Drills
- Update Site communication boards daily / Weekly / monthly

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum education High School Graduate
- Operations experience/ EHS experience preferred.
