**The Opportunity**:

- Two year diploma in Criminal Justice and/or Business Administration from a recognized post-secondary institution
- 3 years of experience and knowledge in a Policing environment with 2 years of direct supervisory experience
- Must successfully have completed courses in CPIC, PROS end user/ IM, and National Call Taking
Must possess strong written and verbal communication in the preparation of documents and the maintenance of records combined with a strong ability to understand RCMP and City of Red Deer Policies and Procedures
- Must have firm knowledge and understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Federal Statutes, Provincial Statutes, Municipal Bylaws, Crown Prosecutor and Court processes, ATIP and FOIPP Legislation
- 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite of products as well as Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to pass RCMP security clearance prior to receiving an offer of employment
- Must maintain RCMP security clearance throughout employment
- Ability to type 45 wpm accurately
- Successful completion of required courses and the ability to satisfactorily pass all training

**Remuneration**:
$43.85 to $46.16 per hour.

**Hours of Work**:
75 hours biweekly, as scheduled. May be required to work days, evenings and weekends. On-call rotation required.
