Floor Manager

LOCALE Aurora is seeking to find a guest centric Floor Manager to join our management team

**Your Jobs Duties**:

- Working the floor; interacting with guests, assisting staff when needed to ensure guests are enjoying their dining experience
- Educating the team on new additions, changes, removals
- Conducting pre-shift briefing with the team; informing of special requests, regular, & VIP guests
- Confirming flow of service prior to opening; planing shift execution with the hosts
- Ensuring the restaurant is exceeding standards before doors open
- Monitoring stock levels for liquor, beer, wine, and service essentials
- Remedying guest concerns and complaints in professional and courteous manner
- Maintaining proper staffing levels, adjusting to business levels
- Enforcing grooming and uniform requirements
- Ensuring all equipment is in working order, reporting defects for remedy
- Performing opening and closing duties
- Complete other duties as assigned by the General Manager

**Your Need to Have**:_(these are really important to us)_
- 3-5 years of Hospitality experience, working as a manager, supervisor, lead server/bartender in a high volume venue
- Demonstrated ability to guide and lead a team
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles, practices, and techniques
- Exceptional objection handling and conflict resolution
- Comprehensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
- Knowledge using POS, RMS, Excel/Sheets
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- SmartServe Certification

**Your Nice to Have**: _(these will really impress us)_
- Extensive wine knowledge and/or WSET certification
- Previous experience in liquor inventory control
- Mixology, development of cocktail menus
- Creation of policies and operating procedures
- Previous experience in conducting interview and hiring
