Join and lead the Sprinkle Squad We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to become an integral part of our women-owned small, colourful confectionery/food packaging business, to work alongside the founder/CEO and enhance and formalize a growing business and help promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance.

The Operations Manager will oversee overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and compliance while supporting and promoting a company culture that encourages morale and performance.

Ultimately, you will ensure that all business functions are in line with our strategic goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employees
- Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
- Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends
- Assist with executing food facility certifications and maintaining compliance and acting as a company representative on regulatory issues.
- Manage storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
- Analyze and improve organizational process and workflow, employee and space requirements, and warehouse layout; implement changes.
- Meet or exceed operations labor budget expectations
- Manage staff levels, wages, hours, HR issues
- Manage relationships with key operations vendors
- Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings
- Purchasing
- Establish production KPIs and conduct quality assessments

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in operations management, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in operations, management and leadership.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
- Entrepreneural mindset.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Team player with POSITIVE attitude who can have fun and inspire others.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
