- Manage welding-related challenges such as heat input, distortion control, and tolerance stack-up while maintaining squareness and structural integrity.
- Communicate effectively and work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and other departments to identify design issues, suggest improvements, and provide feedback on manufacturability.
- Document changes, adjustments, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement and knowledge transfer.
- Adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment involving R&D, repair work, and small-scale production.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, ISO requirements, and housekeeping practices.
**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Skilled in safe and effective use of hand and power tools (drills, grinders, sanders, torque wrenches, etc.).
- High attention to detail, with ability to maintain accuracy, fit, and finish standards across unique and complex builds.
- Ability to maintain accuracy, focus, and quality standards in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
- Basic computer skills for recording job costing, data entry, and KPI tracking.
**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:
- Minimum Level II Welder certification with demonstrated ability to handle complex welding and fabrication tasks.
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication, including blueprint interpretation and the use of hand/power tools.
