_Latincouver Cultural & Business Society - Vancouver, BC (Contractor Commission-Based)_
Latincouver is a non-profit organization connecting Latin Americans and enthusiasts in BC. Our initiatives span business, culture, and community, delivering signature events and impactful programs that empower individuals and foster connections.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential partners and sponsors.
- Identify opportunities to generate sponsorships and partnerships aligned with Latincouver’s mission.
- Develop and execute proposals, pitches, and strategies to engage potential sponsors/partners.
- Represent Latincouver at industry-related events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the organization’s network and opportunities.
- Promote Latincouver's brand and programs to new audiences across different sectors.
- Maintain and organize the sponsor and partner database.
- Complete reporting and provide regular updates on progress and opportunities.
**Requirements and Skills**
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or fundraising (commission-based experience is an asset).
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet targets.
- Knowledge of Latin American culture;
- Advanced English. Spanish or Portuguese is an asset.
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM software.
- Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
